Hot water
Old gas tank replaced with continuous flow, Maroubra
The problem: the old gas storage tank down the side of the house had stopped sending hot water to the taps.
The options: given the tank's age, we explained repair against replacement and the different systems that would suit the home. The owners chose a Rinnai B26 continuous flow unit.
What we did: removed the old tank, mounted the new unit on the wall, upsized the copper pipework to suit, and replaced the gas regulator at the meter so the new system gets enough gas.

Blocked drains
Blocked drains cleared and leaking taps fixed, Maroubra
The problem: slow, blocked drains and leaking tapware in a Maroubra home.
What we did: laid down a protective mat to keep the floor clean, cleared the drains and floor wastes with high-pressure jetting, then repaired the leaking taps in the same visit, so the owners didn't need a second call-out.

Stormwater
New kerb outlet to stop flooding, Maroubra
The problem: the lower ground level of this Maroubra home kept flooding in heavy rain.
What we did: dug a trench from the existing stormwater pipe to the street, connected a new pipe, cored through the kerb so the water discharges into the gutter, and backfilled the nature strip.
